Expander Board

The Expander Board is a modular platform designed to maximize load-bearing options without adding bulk. Built with a flat, low-profile design, it serves equally well as a standalone chest rig or mounted to a plate carrier. With MOLLE sections on both sides and a built-in admin pouch, the Expander Board allows users to tailor their kit for mission-specific requirements.

Materials

The Expander Board uses B52, VELCRO®, and 6 layer Tegris®. All items are Berry Compliant.

Feature Set

The middle portion of the Expander Board is made to fit and hold the Placard 1. It should be able to fit multiple placards. On the body side of the board there is a flat admin pouch to hold papers or pens. The Expander Board has a 3 column wide and 5 row tall molle panel on each side of the board. The sides are also made as a chassis for the Wingman series pouches. It can be used as a base for a modular chest rig, and can also be used as a placard on a plate carrier. The Expander Board adds rigidity for better load bearing while keeping a low profile.
